A day full of activities to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Inauguration of Abraham Lincoln.

The events are co-sponsored by the Lincoln Bicentennial Foundation, the Lincoln Forum, the Lincolnarchives Digital Project, and the Willard InterContinental.

The day’s events begin at the Capitol Hill Visitor Center. Sponsored by the Honorable Jesse Jackson, Jr. representing the 2nd District of Illinois, and the above named co-sponsors, the program will begin with Sam Waterston, known for his portrayal of Lincoln in Gore Vidal’s Lincoln, and Law and Order, reading the First Inaugural Address.
